John Pesa completed Electricity and Industrial Electronics at BCIT in 1991. After BCIT John immediately began his Apprenticeship as a Construction Electrician working on various projects in Metro Vancouver. John completed his red seal apprenticeship as a Construction Electrician in 1995. John received the award for outstanding achievement in apprenticeship training from the ECA/IBEW213 Electrical Joint Training Committee. As a red seal electrician John worked as a Service Electrician, Project Manager/Estimator, and Service Manager for a medium sized Electrical Contractor specializing in downtown tenant improvements until 2004. John then worked in labour relations in the electrical industry for 15 years followed by two years in pension and employee benefits as an Administrator. John is now a Power Quality Project Manager / Estimator at Houle Electric working out of the Burnaby office. John enjoys road bike cycling, going for walks, and spending time with his family and friends.
